Timber quality

Osmo Premium summer houses and pavilions are solely manufactured from carefully selected Nordic spruce. The fine annual rings of the timber are a distinctive sign for good quality and a solid timber structure.

The pine subframe is impregnated according to DIN 68800 and provides a long lasting timber preservation. The wall planks of the Designo range and the pavilions are made of high-quality multi-core plywood, characterized by high stability and low risk of splitting.

Roof

The high quality roof construction with its spacious roof overhang is particularly stable. Depending on the house type, the roof overhang at the front can be 50 to 115 cm.

The roof beams are made of solid wood or high-quality laminated wood with low risk of warping. This ensures a particularly high load bearing capacity, depending on the house type. The roof beams of the Fjordhys and Villahys range are specially designed to add a veranda or lean-to room or to connect two summer houses.

The roof boards of the Designo and Sommarhys range and the pavilions Ancona are made of multi-core plywood to ensure time-saving installation. For all other Premium houses we use carefully planed 19 mm tongue and groove boards. As roofing you can choose from roofing felt and roof shingles. The roof can be insulated.

Corner connection

Corner posts and wall planks are connected with clamps to achieve an air­and water-tight corner connection. This connection fulfils highest demands on constructional timber protection and still allows for natural expansion and contraction of the timber. The corner connection of the Villahys range with 45 mm wall thickness is even more wind­tight due to an additional sealing tape.

Flooring

and constructional timber protection Due to a rebated subframe, the walls of our Premium summer houses do not touch the ground.

This constructional timber protection makes water run off immediately. The water can therefore not penetrate into the house.

The flooring consists of 19 mm tongue and groove boards, made of Nordic spruce. The floor can be insulated.

Windows and doors

The houses of our Premium range are equipped with solid windows and doors made of spruce. They come with an installation frame and genuine glass panes with timber bars. The door panels are made of three-ply board or plywood.

Storm securing

The corner posts of the Premium ranges Fjordhys, Sommarhys and Villahys provide a sufficient, invisible storm securing.

Structural calculationand planning permission

In some cases planning permission for a summer house might be required. Please contact your dealer for further information.

Assembly

Assembly instructions are included with all our summer houses and pavilions. With the help of these instructions you can easily assemble your house or pavilion yourself.
